HOW IT WORKS
ELIGIBILITY

Students must be enrolled full-time in a Post-secondary (diploma, graduate or undergraduate) program during the 2023-24 academic year.

Each team will compose of a faculty advisor and up to 4 students from the same school.

All degree-granting educational institutions worldwide are eligible.

Students must be enrolled full-time in a graduate or undergraduate degree program during the 2023-24 academic year.
TEAMS
-
Each team will consist of a faculty advisor and between 2 to 4 students from the same school.
-
Teams can comprise of any combination of undergraduate and graduate students.
PAIRED TEAMS
-
To encourage cross-cultural learning, an optional Paired-Teams program will pair teams from developing countries with teams from developed countries to compete as one.
-
This program provide students valuable experience working in a multicultural environment and promotes knowledge sharing.

Experienced faculty from developed countries will lead the paired-team projects and provide necessary training to help students from developing countries prepare.
REGIONS

The competition is split into geographical regions based on the number of participating schools and teams.

WIN AWARDS AND GLOBAL RECOGNITION
-
All participating team members will be awarded a Certificate of Participation recognizing their support of UN SDGs.
-
Regional finalists and winners will be awarded certificates and complimentary enrollment in GSCC’s Post-Graduate Global Supply Chain Certification program.
-
The winning team will be invited to New York to receive their award at a United Nations-related event.
-
Finalists will have the opportunity to present projects to angel investors.

REGIONAL COMPETITION HOSTS
Regional competition hosts will be selected to serve as the base for rounds one and two judging, regional awards as well as other competition-related events. Institutions with supply chain education programs or significant research in the area of sustainability, UN-affiliated entities, non-profit organizations, industry associations, or training providers in related fields are eligible to serve as competition hosts.
